Parrot of the Week

Digby came to us in 2003 . He used to fly freely around the Zoo until he started to pinch various items off the cars in the car park; he also loves blonde haired women and their jewellery. As this became a regular habit he now lives in the macaw aviary and you can often hear him singing 'Somewhere over the rainbow' at the top of his voice. Digby still has the chance to come out on a regular basis and fly around the Zoo but this is after opening times of the Zoo.
