Yes it could be a dollop of paint I left behind! Mica appears in my photos and I've never had a problem with her. (Well except for having a go at my shoes, easel, canvas, stealing paintbrush and removing bits of my jacket & undoing stitching so it's not waterproof!)

As for Mika, she was trained at a young age to land on any object but no people other than staff otherwise she wouldnt be trusted in the walkthro with all those people.

I think your training ought to have gone a bit further - to include not landing on staff!!!!
