• The African Love Bird Society (ALBS) is an international organization dedicated to the keeping, breeding, and showing of Love Birds. The term "Love Bird" refers to the nine species of small African parrots of the genus "Agapornis."

• The American Federation of Aviculture (AFA) is a nonprofit national organization established in 1974, whose purpose is to represent all aspects of aviculture and to educate the public about keeping and breeding birds in captivity.

• Bird Clubs of Virginia is a non-profit federation of Virginia clubs. Our mission is to initiate educational and aviary management programs in cooperation with the member clubs comprising and supporting BCV.

   

• The International Parrotlet Society's (IPS) purpose is to educate its members and promote interest in parrotlets, whether for exhibition, reproduction, care, knowledge, conservation, study, companion birds, or hobby; also to present to its members information to increase the understanding of the various genera, species and subspecies of parrotlets.

The Society of Parrot Breeders and Exhibitors is an international society striving for excellence in our captive breeding programs through the encouragement and education of our fellow aviculturists on the proper management and improved care of all parrots.
