College Visits

Are you an Animal College looking where to take the students for a fun filled day out with something a little different from the usual?

We here at The Parrot Zoo can offer you the perfect place to go, not only will you experience the largest collection of parrots in the United Kingdom but we also have reptiles, Lemurs, Small Primates, Tortoises and Meerkats along with a nature reserve and a spectacular up close and personal ‘walk-through’ enclosure, by far our most popular exhibit.

The day involves the students being taken on a walk around the centre showing all aspects of zoo keeping and animal management, after lunch they will assist keepers at the zoo in enrichment programs giving access to many of the enclosures usually out of bounds.
