I am a small breeder, I do it for the enjoyment of caring for these beautiful feathered creatures. I also love meeting new people with like interests and seeing them time and again at shows and conventions. I breed and show three species of parrots; Green Cheek Conures, Lovebirds and Parrotlets. I am a member of the African Lovebirds Society, International Parrotlet Society, Society of Parrot Breeders and Exhibitors, Parrotlet Alliance International, American Federation of Aviculture. I am a member of our local Bird Clubs, part of Bird Clubs of Virginia, the elected Newsletter Editor of Parrot Breeders of Virginia Association and an active member in the Peninsula Caged Bird Society. The type of bird you choose is a personal decision and should be based on what works with your life style and the accommodations that you can provide for them. Remember Parrots are a commitment for life, make your decision wisely and not just on a whim. Do your homework before you acquire a bird.
